New Road Open in St. Patricks

The newly constructed Cross Street Road in Mt. Craven, St. Patrick was officially opened this afternoon at 3pm.  The project which originally began under the stewardship of the Ministry of Community Development, in 2009 constructed a slipper drain and a by-road at a cost of $EC 52,000.

Alan Sanford Unfit for Trial

The American billionaire Allen Stanford who became famous for his Sanford 20/20 cricket in the Caribbean, has been deemed unfit to stand trial on charges of running a $7 billion fraud.  A US judge has ruled that Stanford  needs treatment for a drug addiction.
