FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS PRELIMINARIES BEGIN

 The Division of Culture in the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and the Performing Arts would like to remind all participants in this year’s second phase of the Festival of the Arts Competition that the preliminaries start on Monday 21st April from 9 am.

Library books for Carriacou

An assorted selection of books, valued at about 4,000 Canadian dollars, has left Toronto for Carriacou.  The items, including children’s storybooks, novels, reference texts and dictionaries, are a gift from the National Democratic Congress Support Group in Toronto.  The barrel of books is destined for the public library in Carriacou.

Kelon Noel’s Version

Kelon Noel, the policeman allegedly assaulted by members of the National Democratic Congress in February has admitted that he only told doctors about a bruise on his elbow when he visited the hospital after the incident.
