St. George’s, January 20, 2011 – The Government of Grenada has reaffirmed its determination to continuing with the development of the nation’s playing fields and sporting facilities, including the National Athletics Stadium at Queen’s Park.

St. George’s, Wednesday, January 20, 2011 – The Grenada government has signaled its intention to implement a new program to improve the living standard of the country’s poor.

In making his contribution to the 2011 Budget on Tuesday, Minister Simmons disclosed that government will be meeting with officials of an international company which has expressed an interest “in working with us on a Public/Private Initiative for the refurbishment of the stadium”.
