DELIBERATE LIES & MISREPRESENTATIONS = NAZIMATICS
1. Minister says 11,500 persons received work in the debushing programme in 2009, but less than half that number received only a fortnight each.
2. The Minister claims abolishing sand mining was a success but Grenadians suffered because the price of sand increased by almost 300%.
3. The reopening of the Western main road was claimed as another success but this was a total embarrassment as falling rocks continue to threaten the lives of our people.
4. The Minister boasts that Grenada and one other country qualified for over 28.3 million in EU grant but deliberately did not tell us that the other country was Haiti. Is Grenada the 2nd lowest performer in the Western Hemisphere at this time?
5. The Minister has presented an unbalanced budget. This is a sign of poor economic management.
6. The Minister says he is going to spend $49m but he does not know where the money is coming from. Who is he trying to fool?
7. The Minister claims that 7 million dollars will create 12,000 jobs. The truth is no more than 1500 persons will be working for one fortnight in the whole year.
8. The Minister said that they will create 16,500 jobs but told us 12,000 persons are unemployed. Is he planning to import workers for the remaining 4000 jobs?
9. To achieve the number of jobs stated the Minister will have to grow the economy by 5-6%. He himself said the economy will grow by only 0.8%. This is Nazimatics.
10. The Minister claimed that he has stabilized the economy but inflation and unemployment remains high. The Minister willfully deceived the people. Nazimatics again!!
11. The Minister claims growth in the Agriculture sector is their success but this is due mainly to the efforts of the NNP to resuscitate the nutmeg and cocoa industries following hurricanes Ivan and Emily.
NDC A DYSFUNCTIONAL GOVERNMENT
1. The Prime Minister and his faction called the Lewis Hamilton deal as corrupt and want an investigation into the project. The Foreign Minister and his faction say the deal is above board and will bring great benefits to Grenada. This is a divided Government.
2. The Prime Minister assured his Cabinet that a decision regarding the actions of the former Attorney General will be made in one week but his second cabinet forced him to instantly fire the Attorney General. Division Again!
3. The Prime Minister tells CCC that Government wants to continue with phase B of the farm roads project but the Minister for Works overrides the Prime Minister’s request. Who is really in control?
4. The same Minister and a delegation eating their words recently went back to Kuwait to beg for CCC to return. Who paid for this trip?
5. The Housing Authority gave orders on two occasions to bulldoze a house built on Government lands, the Minister for housing then gave instructions on both occasions to build it back in the same spot Division and deception again!.
6. The Foreign Minister says he is seeking funding to continue phase two of the general Hospital, but the Minister and the former Minister for Health say a new hospital will be built at another location. Which faction will prevail?
7. Elected members of Government including the Prime Minister failed to attend the mandatory and most important Finance Committee Meeting before the 2010 budget. The factions are divided even over the budget.
8. Minister for Foreign Affairs announced in Cuba that the Points Salines International Airport will be renamed the Maurice Bishop International Airport. The PM did not approve the announcement and was pressured by the second faction to discipline the Minister. Today the Minister takes credit for the renaming of the airport. Did his faction prevail? Was the removal of his Tourism portfolio the disciplinary action taken by the PM? More Division !!
9. Prime Minister says his Cabinet is divided on the Casino Gambling and he will not be part of any Cabinet that support Casino Gambling yet he appoints a committee to advise on the implementation of the Casino Project. The PM is playing cards and bringing down his own Government. Division Again!!
10. Some Ministers openly support the Lagoon Rd projects while others are openly against it. This continues to run investors. More Division Again!!
Its time for us Grenadian to look for what is good for the development of this country and not play divide and rule politics. NNP or NDC you have to do a better job that what we are see going on now. Things in Grenada is worse than i ever seen or known.In the seventies and eighties while i was growing up there was Agriculture crops growing everywhere . now there is nothing to eat. Wake up brothers and sisters. Our history of this land is for growing food. Where is it it will not come from overseas.
