WORK QUICKLY PROGRESSING ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HARVEY VALE BACK ROAD

Hillsborough, Carriacou, August 17, 2011- The construction of the 650-feet Harvey Vale back road is in the final stage of completion.

For several years the road was in a dilapidated state, with conditions worsening with flooding and possible mudslides with every heavy downpour of showers.

The Grenada Government, through the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, embarked on an overhaul of the road after an agreement was reached with contractor Eric Joseph to carry out infrastructural work.

Senator George Prime, Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, is pleased with progress made on the project, with only 20 feet of road left to be completed
