KINGSTON, Jamaica – The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) will convene its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 7:00 pm the Hotel Four Seasons in Kingston, Jamaica. WIPA’s AGM this year will feature the election of WIPA’s Executive Board of Directors in keeping with constitutional requirements.

During the AGM, health insurance cards will also be presented to the contracted players of the Guyana Jaguars franchise, the fourth of six franchises to receive same. The comprehensive health insurance plan, being offered through Excel Insurance Brokers and VIP Universal Medical Insurance (VUMI), will in addition to health insurance, provide critical illness coverage to the retained players from all six regional franchises as well as all contracted international players, men and women.
