KINGSTON, Jamaica: The executive and members of the West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) wish to extend their condolences to the family and friends, and the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) on the passing of Mr Lyndel James.

Mr James served as a director on the JCA board for a number of years and was the former head of the Competition and Complaints Committee.

On learning of the Mr James’ passing, WIPA’s President and CEO, Wavell Hinds said, “I am indeed saddened by the untimely passing of Mr James; a true servant of cricket and by extension a true servant to Jamaica. I send my sincerest condolences to his family and friends. ”
