Bridgetown, Barbados, March 11 – Barbados, sent in by Windward Islands, were 96 for two off 47 overs in their first innings – 45 minutes after lunch on the opening day of the fifth round regional first-class match at Kensington Oval here today.
The not out batsmen were Kraigg Brathwaite on 39 and Jonathan Carter, 15.
Left-hander Jason Haynes was leg before wicket by off-spinner Liam Sebastien, the Windwards captain, for 31 as he played across a low full toss (48-1; 22.2 overs) and Kyle Hope, pulling a short ball from the same bowler, was caught at midwicket by Keddy Lesporis for ten (68-2; 32.3 overs).
