Georgetown, Guyana – November 15, 2008: The Windward Islands defeated host Guyana in a rain shortened game of the West Indies Cricket Board One Day Tournament.
The Windwards captain Rawl Lewis won the toss and send in Guyana to bat first. Facing a maximum of 27 overs Guyana finished on 170 all out in 26.2 overs. T. Dowlin top scored with 59 and R. Crandon made 54. Bowling for the Windwards N. Pascal took 4 wicket for 33 runs and L. Sebastien 5 wickets for 28 runs to take the man of the match award.
In reply the Windwards reach their target with 3 wickets and 2 balls to spare. Devon Smith top scored with 63 and D. Sammy 38.
