Windies bat first against Pakistan; Benn replaces Roach

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – West Indies lost the toss and were asked to bat first in their second ICC Cricket World Cup Pool B match against Pakistan at Hagley Oval, on Saturday.

The Windies made one change with left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn replacing fast bowler Kemar Roach.

West Indies are two-time World Cup champions – having won in 1975 and 1979 under the captaincy of Clive Lloyd.

This is West Indies first One-Day International at Hagley Oval.
