TWO INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENTS SIGNED

Two Industrial Agreements were signed on the 23rd May 2008. The fist was an agreement, between the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers’ Union and Sissons Paints (Grenada) Ltd. 

The Agreement is of a three-year duration which came into force as of 1st April 2006 and shall remain until 31st March 2009.

Twenty-nine (29) workers are to benefit from employment injury, call out/call back allowance, etc.

Signing on behalf of the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers’ Union were Mr. Chester Humphrey, Mr. Bert Patterson and two (2) Shop stewards Ms. Anestasia Frank and Mr. Norman Price whilst Mr. Christopher DeAllie signed on behalf of Sissons Paints (Grenada) Ltd.

The second agreement was signed between the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers’ Union (TAWU) and RBTT Bank Grenada Ltd.

The Agreement is of a four-year duration which came into force as of 1st July 2005 and shall remain until 30th June 2009.

One hundred and ten (110) workers are to benefit from profit sharing, salary increases, etc.

Signing on behalf of the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers’ Union were Mr. Chester Humphrey, Mr. Bert Patterson and three (3) Shop stewards  Mr. Keith Gibbs, Ms. Rachael Telesford and Ms. Ann-Marie Roberts whilst Ms. Cyrila Gemon, Country Manager. Mr. A. Lester Andall, Senior Manager – Banking Operations and Ms. Desiree Mitchell-Prime, HR Manager signed on behalf of RBTT Bank Grenada Ltd.

Mr. Cyrus Griffith, Labour Commissioner witnessed the signings..
