The Leader of the Parliamentary Opposition, Hon. Stephenson King, would like to congratulate the Prime Minister-elect of Grenada, Dr. Keith Mitchell, on his New National Party’s historic victory at the polls.

Preliminary results show that the political leader of the NNP, Keith Mitchell and his party, won all fifthteen of the parliamentary seats up for grabs in the spice isles February 19 General Elections.

Mr. King has officially written to the New Prime Minister expressing his support and encouragement to the new Grenadian leader, highlighting the fact that “the people of Grenada have spoken and have spoken loudly!” Mr. King has also offered the advice to the new PM that the confidence placed in his new Administration by the people with this tremendous mandate, must never be taken for granted over the course of the next five years.
