Secondary school students in our tri-island state are being given the opportunity to confront the issues of violence among the youths for another year.
Former Soca Monarchs Kellon and Kelson Ogiste known as Luni Sparks and Electrify this morning launched their second annual ‘youth against violence’’ campaign .
Last year the campaign visited 10 secondary schools and had the nation’s children talking none stop about the motivating theme and message.
The campaign organizers are hoping that with increased support from Government and various sponsors their message will be implemented in every school.
This year’s campaign will once again be held under the theme “Violence has no fame; only shame; stand up; let education be your game”.
Acting Director of the Students Support Services Unit in the Ministry of Education, Miss Pauline St. Paul says the Ministry is full support of this initiative.
