RGPF continues crackdown on crime and violence in the country.

The Royal Grenada Police Force continues with its crackdown on crime and violence in the country. As a result of operations carried out by members of the Royal Grenada Police Force within Carriacou and St. George Policing areas, a number of persons were arrested and charged for various offences including; possession of a controlled drug, driving without a drivers license and other traffic related offences.

 A number of electronic items were confiscated including a mask for investigation purposes.  Among those arrested, Jexie Anthony GIBBS 28yrs of Fenton Village Grand Anse St. George and Mischka THOMAS 18yrs of Belmont St. George were jointly charged for the offences of possession of a fire arm and ammunition to wit; one twelve gauge short gun and three (3) rounds of ammunition which was found at the home of Jexie Anthony GIBBS at Fenton Village.

Travis ROBERTS 24yrs of Prospect Hall Carriacou was arrested and charged for possession of a fire arm and ammunition to wit; one twelve gauge short gun and eight rounds of ammunition, a sword was also found at his home.
