They are playing a better unit now and certainly will get better in the future. Playing amidst tough conditions of having to journey by sea on Monday morning, the young lads from Bishops College in carriacou fought hard to earn a draw against the Happy Hill Secondary in the afternoon at the Beausejour Playing Field.
Hubert alexis scored twice and Deon Campton added a third for Bishop’s College while Kendon Mitchell, Kendall Roberts and Trevon Williams scored a goal each for Happy Hill Secondary.
The other match played on Monday, featured Presentation Brothers College playing at home to St. Rose Modern Secondary at the Queens Park. St. Rose earned a comfortable 4-1 win. The prolific goal scorer Kacey Smith scored a Hattrick and Azar Braithwaite chipped in the 4th goal. Kaz Ollivierre scored the lone goal for PBC.
Today, Tuesday 20th October, Grenville Secondary and Westerhall will play over at the Victoria Park while still in the ‘Big Parish” SAASS will host Wesley College.
The feature game of the day will be the ‘northern derby’ between Mc Donald College and St. Rose Modern Secondary. All these matches will be contested in both Junior and Senior Divisions.
