Pursuant to the recent Cabinet appointments, the Energy Division has been relocated to Building one (1) of the Financial Complex on the Carenage, as of Tuesday July 29, 2008.

Speaking of the addition of energy to his portfolio, Minister Nazim Burke reiterated the importance of energy to this administration.

“Energy offers immense opportunities for the growth of the economy and the transformation of the country.

 It is a potentially highly viable resource that is untapped. Energy would therefore be given high priority and strong support from this government.”.
