ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, Monday, October 28, 2013 – GIS: Prime Minister Dr.the Right Honourable  Keith Mitchell  takes to national radio and television this Wednesday night from 8.00 p.m. to deliver an all important  address to the nation.

Following his recent high level meeting in Washington with the IMF and World Bank officials, Prime Minister Mitchell delivers on his promise to report to the people of the Tri-island state.

The Grenadian leader will report on the status of the home grown structural adjustment programme in development with the IMF.

He will report new figures on lowering the income tax threshold and  provide a commencement date .

Dr.Mitchell will share with the nation figures on soft loans and grants this country is expected to receive from international agencies, as well as  technical and other financial support.

He will tell the nation how government is tackling the issue of tax delinquents and outline plans to collect outstanding revenue.

Prime Minister Mitchell will update the country on waste reduction, such as cutting back non personal expenditure, international travel, cell phones and consultations with the social partners whic h have been gathering momentum.

At a crucial period in this country’s economic recovery efforts,  Prime Minister Mitchell takes to  national radio and television this Tuesday from 8.00 p.m to  report to the nation.
