Sunday, February 7, 2010 Toronto, Canada: Grenada will be celebrating 36 years as an independent nation, on February 7th, 2010. The Theme for this year’s celebration is “Celebrating Our Nation’s Birth with Love and Togetherness”.
In commemoration of this special occasion, the Grenadian community in Toronto under the patronage of the Grenada Consulate General will be hosting it’s annual Gala on Saturday, February 13th, 2010. Event takes place inside the beautiful and luxurious Spirale Banquet Hall – 888 Don Mills Road, commencing at 6:30 p.m.
Grenada’s Minister of Labour, Social Security and Ecclesiaseital Affairs, Hon. Karl Hood, will be the guest speaker. Tickets are $70 each and proceeds goes to various charitable endeavours of the Grenada Association Toronto. Music by DJ Slim of the Grenada Soca Boyz.
