In April, Grenada’s yachting sector will bring ‘The Oyster Regatta” which will be hosted at Port Louis and Le Phare Bleu Marinas.

Oyster Yachts are hand built by some of the world’s finest craftsmen and, to cruising yachtsmen the world over, they are considered as the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the yachting market.

Previous Oyster Regattas have been hosted in Valencia for the America’s Cup, the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes, the Real Club Nautico in Palma, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron in Auckland and now, for the first time, Grenada.

According to the President of the Marine and Yachting Association, Anita Sutton, “The Oyster Regatta represents a tremendous opportunity for Grenada.

It is one of the most prestigious Regatta’s in the world and it is a significant achievement to have them hosting a race with us here in Grenada.”
