St. George’s Grenada, Friday 21st, December: The New National Party wishes to  place on record the fact that during the campaign of elections 2008, there was never a national political debate between the two aspiring Political  Leaders  of the main political parties. 
 
We believe that this national debate is extremely important for the Nation as a whole, as this opportunity was never fulfilled during the last political campaign, which in hindsight has really deprived the people of Grenada an opportunity to quiz the two leaders, aspiring to lead our country .
 
Our request therefore is of significant importance to our people and country for a national political debate to take place during the first half of January 2013, so that the people of Grenada would have that opportunity, to listen to the policies and programs of the two main aspiring leaders and to afford the people the privilege to interact with them.
