The death is announced of John Adonijah Chitan AKA ‘J” of Moyah St. Andrews who resided at Corinth St. David a well known bus driver and watch repairer, who passed away on Friday May 1st 2015 at the age of 68. He was the father of Jennifer Smart and Jennefie Chitan in the USA, Jenny, John and Britney Mc Donald in Grenada, grandfather of Jensen, Jaden and Jenneise Smart in the USA Thalea Colymore in the USA and Hailey Mc Donald in Grenada His close companion Celia Mc Donald.
He was the brother of Ennis Donah, Agustin Chitan and Isaac “Chyo” Chitan brother in law of Lalita Chitan in Tortola, Filicity Chitan in Canada and Norin Easlyn and Madona Chitan in Grenada. Many niceness and nephews including Verdlyn Bernard, Neals, Ethlyn, Ceal, Desmond, Daniel and Elvin Chitan, close friend of chilbow the Chitan, Donah, David, Thompson, and Charles families friends and neighbors of Corinth, Moyah and surrounding areas, Pastors and members of the Blair Presbyterian Church.
Funeral service will be held on Monday May 18th 2015 at the Grenville Seventh Day Adventist Church Rivulet Lane at 2:00 pm and interment at the grand brass cemetery.
