ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, Tuesday November 5, 2013: Caribbean Export in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) offers ProNET training to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Caribbean region.  Between November, 12-14, 2013 Caribbean Export in collaboration with the Grenada Ministry of Economic Development, Trade, Planning and Cooperatives will be delivering ProNET Export marketing workshop to small and medium sized businesses.

ProNET is a training programme for SME owners who want to grow their businesses and become more competitive.  SMEs are defined as enterprises with more than 5 but less than 25 employees.  The programme is designed mainly for the manu­facturing sector but services enterprises can also benefit from attending.

The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade, Planning & Cooperatives will be facilitating the training of up to 20 SMEs from Grenada at the Grenada Industrial Development Corporation from November 12-14, 2013.  The sessions will be led by ProNET certified trainers, Shameilla Moses and Wilma Dandel, commencing at 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. daily.
Attending firms will receive training on Export Marketing which includes topics such as export strategy, market research, regulatory compliance, export promotion and trade promotion tools, which are critical for businesses that want to increase their level of productivity and profitability by increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
