St. George, Grenada; May 27, 2014 — Martial arts enthusiasts and aspiring practitioners of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Kick-Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts are in for a meaningful learning experience and special treat this coming weekend, said Sensei Melvaughn Coutain of the Grenada School of Martial Arts, in a recent interview.
“Grenadians are set to benefit from having international instructor and martial artist, Professor Davanand Samaroo of the Hikmah Kung Fu School of Trinidad, as the lead presenter of a seminar, which would be held from Friday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1, 2014,” said Coutain. “The first two days would be held at the Grenada Trade Centre, and the third at the Yoga Studio at True Blue Bay Garden Resort,” he added.
Participants are being asked to pay $60.00 to defray the cost of putting on the seminar. However, according to Coutain, “No one should stay away due to lack of finance, and so youths are encouraged to attend, even if they do not have the requisite funds.” Towards this end, corporations and caring individuals in a position to help, are asked up to the date of the event, to donate towards covering the cost of those who are unable to come up with the registration fee. Those unable to pay, as well as those who would like to donate, may call 473-538-4005.
Upon completion of the seminar, participants would be awarded a Certificate.
The closing ceremony at True Blue Bay Garden Resort would end with a special discounted lunch, costing EC$35 for adults and $15 for children.
