Jennifer Hosten will have the Toronto launch of her recently published autobiography BEYOND MISS WORLD, written with husband Shaun Sarsfield at the Consulate General of Grenada, 439 University Avenue, Suite 930, on Thursday, October 16, 2008. The Toronto launch and book signing, starts at 6: 00 p.m.
The Ottawa launch and book signing, hosted by Third World Players, will be at Library and Archives Canada, on October 8, 2008.
The former high commissioner for Grenada in Canada who was Miss World 1970 and served in the Canadian Public Service, notably as a specialist and diplomat in the field of international development and is the author of a well received book on trade, will address the Consular Corp Association of Toronto on Tuesday October 14, 2008 on the topic “Taking The Plunge”.
Ms. Hosten will also do a book signing at Indigo Manulife Centre, 55 Bloor St. West (at Bay St.), Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
Jennifer Hosten now resides in semi-retirement in Grenada where she and her husband are proprietors of the resort Jenny’s Place on Grand Anse Beach. However, she maintains a strong interest in Caribbean regional integration, a subject on which she had served as a technical advisor to CARICOM, on loan from CIDA, in 1998.
