Caracas January 19, 2009: Grenadian born nationals and their descendants will join with Grenadians around the world to celebrate the Nations thirty-fifth (35th) Anniversary of Independence under the national theme: ´´Celebrating 35 years of Grenadianism´´.
 
The planning committee has proposed the following activities:
    January 31 – Independence Flag-Raising Ceremony
    January 31 – Interfaith Thanksgiving Independence Church Service
    February 4 – Games/Cultural Evening
    February 6 – Open House at the Embassy
    February 7 –  Panteon Nacional [Official Ceremony]
    February 7 – Cocktail Reception

The photos from our Independence activities will be available on our website www.grenadaembassycaracas.org so you too will be able to view our Celebrations. We do anticipate this year’s celebrations to be well attended and we look forward to good participation.
