Grenadians woke up this morning getting the news that the island is under a tropical storm warning. An emergency meeting has been called this morning.

At 5:00AM this morning tropical storm Karen developed packing winds of up to 40 MPH. Karen is located 11.9 degrees north and 60.2 degrees west or about 100 miles east of Grenada.

Grenada should experience heavy rain and winds gusting up to 40 MPH.
