Police have detained a 23 year old man in the investigation of a chopping incident on Wednesday.  34 year old Dolorie Francis is nursing wounds at the general hospital following the incident which occurred in Mt. Reule, St. Patrick.

Francis is said to have received multiple chop wounds to the head and left and right hand.

Police say at around 1:05 yesterday Miss Francis was doing laundry in a river in the same area when she attacked by 23 year old Emron Phillip.

He was subsequently arrested by police and is presently in custody.  Up to new time WEEFM News were unable to determine the present condition of Miss Francis.
