Brooklyn, NY – October 10, 2010: There was standing room only yesterday at the Wingate High School Auditorium in Brooklyn, New york when Grenadians of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith met for their annual convention.
The president of the organization Brother Crafton Calliste announced that the GNYAO will be undertaking a massive project in Grenada next year July, 2011. “Our goal is to take much needed medicine and supplies to Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, as well as to conduct Health Fairs and Seminars, in order to improve the quality of life to all Grenadians. In addition, we will afford some person or persons with a medical condition that is not treatable in Grenada, the opportunity t0 be treated abroad”.
The speak for the divine hour Pastor John form the Northern district in Grenada encouraged the audience to be serious about their faith, and be ready to make a contribution to help their homeland in need.
The weekend of activities begun with a church service on Friday evening and ended with a grand social of folk music and games with lots of Grenadian food and drinks on Saturday night where hundreds attended.
