Mr. Dominic Paul passed away in a drowning accident on August 12, 2014. Mr. Paul was a friend and ally of GNYAO who provided discounted imaging services for GNYAO patients during the 2011 Health Mission. He also performed discounted imaging and laboratory services for GNYAO during the July, 2014 Health Mission.

Mr. Paul was the founder and owner of Spice Isle Imaging, a state-of-art imaging and laboratory center located on the Careenage, in St. George’s, Grenada.

Mr.  Paul’s life-long dream was to establish a world class imaging center on the island of Grenada. He succeeded in doing just that and more. The imaging center came with a state-of-the art laboratory and he had plans to introduce an urgent care center on the same premises.  He would go down in history as a great pioneer, humanitarian  and patriot of Grenada because of his accomplishments.

The GNYAO family expresses its deepest condolences to the family of Dominic Paul and the Spice Isle Imaging management and staff. We hope that they will find comfort in the great memories he made while he was alive and we wish them success as they boldly carry on his legacy.

Dr. Raphael Hall and Mr. Terry Charles represented the GNYAO at Mr. Paul’s funeral. Dr. Hall’s tribute to Mr. Paul on behalf of GNYAO and a picture of the beautiful wreath created by Gillian are attached.
