Grenada exceeds WCIB expectations

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, April 17, 2015 – GIS: The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has praised Grenada for its level of preparations, days before the historic staging of the Windies vs. England test match.

That’s according to immediate past president of the Grenada Cricket Association (GCA) and member of the organising committee Garvin Taylor.

Taylor says the WICB is pleased with what has transpired over the past few months to ensure all is in place for the game.
He is particularly impressed with the state of the field and pitch.

“As you can see the field is in excellent condition and the quality of any international game or any cricket game depends on the quality of the field,” said Taylor.

Taylor says Grenada has exceeded the expectations of the West Indies Cricket Board in its preparations for the game.

“They know where we at the moment and where we were expected to be, we have surpassed where we were expected to be” said Taylor.
