Forty One Candidates nominated for June Election

Forty one individuals were nominated as candidates for the General Election on June 23, 2022 in Grenada Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

One no show is the recently launched POWER. This election will see the return of Grenada’s oldest political party GULP.

  • The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New National Party (NNP) nominated 15 candidates each
  • Grenada Renaissance Party (GRP) nominated 3 candidates
  • Independent Freedom Party nominated 3 candidates
  • Grenada United Labour Party (GULP) nominated 4 candidates
  • There was 1 independent candidate
