Monday, November 10, 2008, St. George’s: The Ministry of Finance, Planning, Economic Development, Foreign Trade, Energy and Cooperatives in collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat’s “Hub and Spokes Project” will be conducting a seminar on the above captioned subject.
The Seminar will be held at the National Stadium on Wednesday November 12th and Thursday 13th
2008.
The Seminar will focus on the Services and Investment Agreement signed between CARIFORUM and the EU to establish the EPA (Economic Partnership Agreement)
The main objective of the National Consultation is to update stakeholders on all aspects of the Agreement such as market access that the EU offered Grenada and the Sectors Grenada offered the EU. This information will prepare stakeholders to make more informed decisions concerning the EU’s Market thus leading to effective positioning.
