Friday, August 12th 2011 – New York: Digicel today announced the launch of the Digicel Kick Start Soccer Clinics in New York in which 150 aspiring young soccer players will battle it out to be in with a chance to train with England and Liverpool soccer legend, John Barnes.
The programme – which coincides with the Digicel Caribbean Cup matches – kicks off next Sunday 21st August at the DCC fields in Jefferson High School Field, 12508 Flatlands Avenue, Brooklyn NY. The programme takes place over three days of clinics (continuing on August 28th and September 4th) – from which 30 of the best young soccer players will be chosen to train with England and Liverpool soccer legend, John Barnes, on Tuesday, September 27th 2011.
To register, Digicel customers simply have to go to the Digicel Caribbean Cup location, and top up with US$20 or more between August 14th and September 4th 2011, and they will also receive a free Digicel Soccer Kit which includes a soccer jersey, water bottle, pen, keychain and mini soccer ball. The Digicel soccer clinics are limited to 50 places per clinic and places are given on a first come first served basis.

The Digicel Kick Start Soccer Clinics will see over 200 children – across eight countries – receive expert coaching in the beautiful game.
