A pathology report emanating from the Sister Isle says Devon Chitan died as a result of hypovolemia. Chitan’s body was discovered on the Point Systan beach in Carriacou’s on Monday.
Hypovolemia is defined as a state of decreased blood volume; more specifically, decrease in volume of blood plasma.
In this case Chitan’s death is believed to have been caused by severe bleeding from wounds inflicted upon him by Vesprey.
Chitan’s decomposed body was recovered on the Point Systan beach in L’Esterre, Carriacou Monday afternoon after being reported missing on the weekend.
A Source said the man arrested in connection with Chitan’s death Victor Vesprey was taken back to the scene of the twice yesterday, where it is believed the murder weapon was discovered.
Vesprey was apprehended by police Tuesday following a massive manhunt ensued by his alleged confession to the killing. He is now charged with his murder.
David Chitan was 25 years old from Moyah, St. Andrew.
