The Royal Grenada Police Force categorically denies the claim made in a local newspaper that one its former member, now deceased, Corporal of Police, Elarius Frank, was suspended from the Force or involved in any police-civilian beating which allegedly took place on one of islands off Grenada.

The RGPF wishes to clearly state that the former officer was in no way associated with the alleged incident as purported in the Friday 19^th September, 2014 issue of The New Today Newspaper, titled “Policeman is Dead”.
