Wednesday, 2 July 2014:  After 2 days of GRENLEC’s latest promotion, more than 400 customers have already walked away with thousands of dollars in prizes.  On Tuesday, 1 July GRENLEC launched the second edition of its Bonus Day Promotion at its Bruce Street location in St. George’s.

Electricity customers are lining up to spin the wheel for a chance to win prizes after paying their bills.  Prizes include school supplies, education vouchers, grocery vouchers and electricity credit.  One very lucky customer at each location will win a jackpot valued at $1,000 ($400 groceries and $600 electricity credit).  At GRENLEC’s Bruce Street and Grenville Customer Care Centres the jackpot winners are Sylvia Redhead and Cheryl Edgar respectively.

“Customers are thrilled to win and many are particularly grateful for the school supplies for the children.”  So says Casandra Slocombe, GRENLEC’s Customer Services Manager, who underscored the importance of the Company’s rewards programme, “It is another of the ways that we demonstrate the value that we place on our customers and we all have a lot of fun doing it”.

During GRENLEC’s first Bonus Days in March, hundreds of customers took home more than twenty-five thousand dollars in prizes.

“Bonus Day” is designed to reward customers for keeping their electricity accounts current. The promotion continues with Bonus Day at the Company’s Grand Anse location on Thursday, 3 July and Carriacou on Tuesday, 8 July.
