St. Georges, Grenada, 13th June 2014. Customers banking with CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank were treated in an exceptional and delightful way on Friday 13th June, as the bank celebrated Customer Appreciation Day.
Customers were welcomed by smiling, friendly bank staff as they walked through the doors of the various branches across Grenada. Additionally, they were served light refreshments as they completed their banking transactions on that day.
Long standing customer, Mr. Daniel Mc Phie expressed his pleasure and complimented CIBC FirstCaribbean for undertaking the initiative. He said: “I believe this is an exceptional and special gesture. It shows the bank has its customers at heart in finding unique ways to give back and show their appreciation in such a tangible way.”
This well-received initiative was undertaken by all CIBC FirstCaribbean branches across our tri-island state, the seventeen territories across the region as well as parent company CIBC.
“It isn’t enough to just say thank you. With this special gesture, we went the extra mile to live by our word and express our gratitude. We wanted to show customers that we value their loyalty and trust and appreciate that they have made us their bank of choice,” said the bank’s Grenada Country Manager, Nigel Ollivierre.
The Customer Appreciation initiative is the latest in a series of activities and events which are geared toward demonstrating the bank’s determination to continually engage customers. In September 2013, the bank held a convenient banking session on a Saturday. More recently, it introduced Talk to Me Tuesdays which gives customers the opportunity to directly engage banking professionals on any aspect of the bank’s services and products, and receive immediate feedback and guidance.
