June 3, 2015 St. George Grenada. Staff and clients of CIBC FirstCaribbean were once again treated to a special visit from two of the company’s senior executives.
On Wednesday June 3rd, CEO Rik Parkhill and Country Manager for the Southern EC Islands, Ladesa James-Williams, visited the Bank’s branches in Grand Anse and St. George’s. This well-received visit was used as an opportunity for the company’s leading executives to engage with staff and customers at the branches personally and get their feedback.
Country Manager, Nigel Ollivierre, warmly greeted his colleagues as they arrived and expressed his delight in receiving this visit. “We are pleased to receive another visit from the senior executive team. Grenada is one of the smaller territories in which CIBC FirstCaribbean operates. This visit clearly demonstrates the importance of the Grenada team to the organisation” he commented.
Rik Parkhill was appointed as CEO in September 2011 whilst Ladesa James-Williams – an employee of CIBC FirstCaribbean for 14 years – was appointed her current position in February last year, a welcomed addition to the company’s senior management team.
In addition to branch visits, a customer business luncheon was held at the Spice Island Beach Resort. The clients and bank officials were able to discuss matters relating to the current state of the economy, business in Grenada and CIBC FirstCaribbean’s plan to help customers achieve their goals. The day culminated with a team meeting and social event for all CIBC FirstCaribbean staff.
This visit, was preceded by another official visit from CIBC FirstCaribbean Managing Director of Retail and Business & International Banking, Mark St. Hill and Donna Wellington, Managing Director for Barbados and the OECS in February of this year.
With an outstanding suite of business and personal wealth management resources made available to its clients, CIBC FirstCaribbean remains the largest regionally-listed bank in the English and Dutch speaking Caribbean.
