REVISED VOTERS LIST TO BE RELEASED SOON
MARCH 31ST 2008, St. George’s – An updated and revised voters list should be released any time from now. That’s according to a representative from the Parliamentary Elections Office.
Ongoing efforts to unite Grenada’s Oldest Political Party
Rumors are circulating that there are ongoing efforts to bring the two factions of Grenada’s oldest political party together for the next general election. The Grenada United Labour party was formed in 1951 by the late Prime Minister Sir Eric Matthew Gairy.
CHURCHES’ RESTORATION PROJECT RECEIVES BOOST
Four major churches which have become national symbols in Grenada received a boost to their reconstruction drive. Colombian Emeralds International has contributed 5,000 dollars to the restoration of the St. George’s Catholic Church.
