ST. GEORGE, GRENADA, July 5, 2011 – The GCC will like to inform the public, that Carnival City at Fort Mathew will not take place this coming Thursday, July 7 and Sunday, July 10th due to the GCC – LIME Soca Monarch Quarter Finals which kicks off at Cuthbert Peters Park in Gouyave on Thursday. The action then moves onto the Victoria Hard Court on Friday, Fond Recreation Grounds on Saturday and Culminates at the La Saggesse Natural Works on Sunday. Show time is 8pm each night except Sunday when showtime is scheduled for 7pm.
When Carnival city resumes at Forth Mathew the public can expect an excellent series of events which will include a young Soca Artist Clash on Thursday July 14 The Groovy Soca Monarch Semi Final on July 17, Representation of the Studios on July 21, Champions in the House on July 28 an Pan Ramajai, a pan solo competition on July 31.
