Calabash Grenada Wins Service Excellence in Tourism award and named the Business Leader

Grenada (Nov. 24, 2014) -With its reputation for combining five star service and luxury within a relaxed and intimate environment, Calabash Grenada (www.CalabashHotel.com), is honoured to have been selected as the winner of both the Service Excellence in Tourism award and named the Business Leader of the Year by the Grenada Chamber of Industry & Commerce (GCIC).

The awards were presented at the GCIC Gala Dinner on Saturday 15th November 2014. The event held at the Grenada Trade Centre, celebrates the exceptional performance of island’s Private Sector. Owners, Lilian and Adele Garbutt, as well as Resort Manager, Zack Samuel, were on hand to collect the awards sponsored by The Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association, Virgin Atlantic and St George’s University.

Calabash Hotel, which was has been the top hotel in Grenada on Trip Advisor for many months, recently completed a multi-million dollar upgrade project, which has brought the standards at the five-star resort to an increased level of luxury.
