BRITISH NATIONALS CAUGHT WITH DRUGS AT MBIA

Two British nationals attempting to depart the Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA) have been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug and trafficking a controlled drug.

Daniel LANGAIGNE, 46 years old, British national was intercepted at MBIA on Tuesday 30th August 2011, with one kilo of cocaine concealed in three wall plaques during check-in with British Airways flight 2156 bound forLondon,England. 

Langaigne appeared before the St.George’s Magistrate Courton Friday 2nd September 2011 and has been remanded to Richmond Hill Prison to reappear in Court on Monday 5th September, 2011.

On Thursday 1st September, 45 years old Faye Anne LOBO was caught with one kilo of cocaine in her luggage as she prepared to depart MBIA on Virgin Atlantic flight 052 destined toLondon.

She will make her first court appearance at the St.George’s Magistrate Courton Monday 5th September 2011.
