Wednesday, August 6th, 2008: We at Seven Stars Entertainment, the management of Lavaman apologize to Judges & the Promoter of De Village Soca Monarch. The actions by Lavaman (SEE IT HERE) was not intentional. After having a very busy weekend he came straight De Village that night from Beach Fest on Grand Anse Beach(Which He Won) with the intentions only to please his fans and give the exciting performance he is known for. This performance was not planned due to the last 2 years we been participating in this event no rules or regulations was given to us. To avoid an incident like the one in De Village Soca Monarch, we are asking all Promoters & Event Managers to state the Guidelines & the Do(s) & Don’t(s) when booking an Artist.
At no point in time we will never like to instigate any violence or disrespect to any Promoter, any Judge or any Event.
Just to clear the air. Lava do not participate in the National Soca Monarch due to some of the guidelines & regulations of this event which suppresses some of his strongest points in his performance. The decision of Lava not participating was made by Lavaman & his management team. He not participating has nothing to do with a banned from the Carnival Committee or any disqualifications from the National Soca Monarch.
