A Spring Fun Raising Party

The word on the streets of Brooklyn is that New Yorkers are looking forward to the special “Spring Fun Raising Party,” which will be happening from 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Spice Island Haven, 1169 Nostrand Avenue, between Fenimore Street and Ruthland  Road in Brooklyn.

According to organizers, attendees of this event will be treated to a likeable variety of Grenadian eats and beverages.

Organized by the New York Chapter of Grenada’s National Democratic Congress, the Spring Fun Raiser is expected to draw a large turn-out in light of the increased talk of an early election in Grenada and the urgency to mobilize support throughout the diaspora.

The Chairman of the NYC Chapter, Mr. Alfred Butler, Vice-Chair, former Ambassador to the U.N. Dr. Eugene Pursoo, the rest of the executive, members, supporters and

well-wishers are all expected to be present.

Entertainment for the event will be provided by Mr. B of Crossroads Radio Family and SpiceMusic.com and WestIndianPeople.com.
