Police detained aid to former PM Mitchell

An aid to former Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell was detained by the Grenada police on Thursday morning.  The woman whose job was to coordinate the outreach community program of the New National Party was caught taking away documents from her office.

Permanent secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister confirmed that Cheryl Williams was seen by employees of the ministry  taking  away a garbage filled with documents from the office.

When asked to leave the papers, Williams refused insisting it was her personal stuff. The police were called in and Williams was taken into custody where she was questioned and released.
