The Jason Robert Foundation would be hosting top European Footballers and officials in Grenada during the month of June, as part of a series of activities to kick off the JASON ROBERTS SUMMER KICKING PROGRAMME. This innovative football programme is in its second year of operation in Grenada and comes with a high powered team of Players, Coaches and administrators with a vast amount of experience in developing the sport of football in communities throughout England, at the Premiere league level, and the international playing circuit.
Grenada is poised to benefit from the talent and experience of this high powered team as the Jason Roberts Foundation looks to build a system to harness the professional development of the Football talents among youth, and to certify a team of local coaches to premiere league coaching standards.
The Foundation will host celebrities such as Jason Jarret, Emile William Ivanhoe Hesky, Jason Roy Brown, and Jason Roberts himself. Accompanying these players will also be Heather Rabbatts, a former Governor of the BBC, non-executive of the Bank of England, and Director of the UK Film Council. Heather is currently a Trustee of the JASON ROBERTS FOUNDATION, and the new executive Deputy Chair of the Millwall Football Club. While in the Grenada the delegation will make courtesy calls on Government officials, Sporting organizations, schools, and communities to share their experiences, and lend support to the initiatives of the Jason Roberts Foundation. One of the Foundation’s coaches, Gary Mulcahey has been in Grenada for the past month visiting schools and setting up the summer program. He has set up, developed and expanded grass-roots football programmes over a period of nearly 16 years in the UK.
The FOUNDATION would like to encourage community groups, schools, churches and sporting organizations to get involved in this summers programme. Please contact N’finite Communications for further details..
