Albert Alexis, a 59 year old Mechanic of DeBlandeau, St. Andrew is due to appear before the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 6th May, 2015 at 09:00 a.m. charged in connection with the weekend death of Alson Henry.
31 year old Henry, a resident of Plaisance (St. Andrew) who was involved in an altercation with the accused on Saturday 2nd May, 2015 was found dead the following day (Sunday) with multiple stab wounds to the body.
Alexis was subsequently detained by police for questioning and later charged with non-capital murder.
An autopsy report revealed that Henry died as a result of hypovolemic shock due to a stab wound to the chest.
