so if one did not play(cricket) for the West Indies he will not be recognized as a ‘National Hero’, even if he/she represented the nation as a player and ambassador.I know of Grenadians who represented the nation at one sport or another and migrated to another country, proudly represented and sold Grenada as a tourist destination, among other things, and have not even gotten a mention. Kodos to Tyrone ‘Sampat’ Harbin.
another heroess to avoid gender prejudice should also be credited and recognised namely.Insley edna wardally internationally known asMAMMA for her contribtion to humanity and tourism.
Congratulations again on a job well done with the website.
At an appropriate time I think that Anthony “Jericho” De Duke Greenidge’s name should be added to our heroes page.
Here is a suggestion, post on spiceislander.com/talkshop a request for persons to be nominated for inclusion on the Hero’s page. I would leave it up to you as to how the process of deciding who makes the list, maybe you can get a few people together who can deside by e-mail based on a vote an uneven number would be required.
