The Government will continue to closely monitor that pricing mechanism and would adjust prices in accordance with subsequent market price movements. All consumers are encouraged to act wisely to conserve and use energy efficiently. This situation must not be abused by any persons involved in the sale of these products to gain excess profit. Consumers are encouraged to report any such incidences to the Price Control/ consumer Affairs Units of the Ministry of Finance.
The Government and Ministry empathize with the consumers and the Grenadian public in general for these and other increase in prices.
