The ICS Caribbean SeaFan Festival & Telethon continues to gather momentum and new partners as anticipated date draws near. CaribVision TV the region’s premiere cable TV Channel will broadcast the day’s event online, as well as live on CaribVision TV Cable for a one hour special segment in the four o’clock dinner hour. Speakers from organizations based both in the US scheduled to participate include: CaribSave, NOAA, Guy Harvey Foundation, Howard University, and Ocean Crest Alliance. The participation of these industry leaders signify the importance they place on this inaugural event, which is a precursor to a US OCEAN SUMMIT being hosted by Secretary of State John Kerry later this month, at which the Prime Minister of Grenada is expected to attend.
